1. Water-based wood paint

The biggest feature is environmental protection. The most common is acrylic water-based decorative enamel, which is mainly used for mixing water and mixing water to clear. The higher-grade and relatively rare is water-based polyester paint, which has clear water and mixed water. 2. Nitro lacquer (NC paint)

It is a relatively old type of paint. Due to the different film-forming mechanism, the unique decorative effect of nitro lacquer is difficult to achieve with other types of paint, especially nitro lacquer, which is close to the natural color of wood and will not turn yellow. After curing, there is no free substance in the paint film, and the environmental protection performance is good. It is still the mainstream of wood paint in the United States and other countries. The biggest disadvantage is that it is not heat-resistant, which has not been solved so far. The problems of inconvenience in construction in the past have long been solved. Basically, it can be cured in 3-4 coats and the odor is not strong. Basically, it is not much different from other types of paint.

3. Polyester paint (PE paint)

Also called unsaturated polyester paint, it is a unique high-grade paint. It belongs to solvent-free paint, that is, paint without solvent volatilization during the film-forming process after coating. The solvent styrene has the dual functions of dissolving and film-forming substances. The volatilization amount is very small, and the solid content is almost 100%. A thicker paint film can be obtained, which can reduce the number of brushing and improve work efficiency. 1~2 coats of brushing can form a full and bright paint film; at the same time, it also has little pollution to the environment. The paint film of polyester paint has excellent comprehensive performance, hardness and wear resistance, high richness, resistance to moisture and heat, dry heat, acid and alkali oil, solvents and a variety of chemicals, and high insulation. The varnish is light in color, high in transparency and gloss, good in light and color retention, and has good protective and decorative properties.

4. Polyurethane paint (PU paint)

Polyurethane paint is polyurethane paint. It has a strong paint film, full gloss, strong adhesion, water resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in high-end wooden furniture and can also be used on metal surfaces. Its main disadvantages include blistering when exposed to moisture, powdering of the paint film, and yellowing. In addition, PU paint has more volatile organic compounds during the painting process, which is not as environmentally friendly as PE paint. The varnish variety of polyurethane paint is called polyurethane varnish.

5. Acrylic resin paint

Acrylic resin paint is a high-grade wood paint, and adding fluorescent pigments can make high-gloss paint. The characteristics are light color, good color retention, UV resistance, good heat resistance, bright and hard paint film, strong adhesion, and convenient construction. The disadvantage is that the paint film is brittle and has poor cold resistance.

6. Ultraviolet light curing paint (UV paint)

UV paint has high gloss, smooth surface, high hardness, no solvent volatilization, and high environmental protection. However, UV paint can only be applied with a roller, so it is not suitable for wooden products with complex shapes that are assembled as a whole. At the same time, professional drying equipment is required. It is generally used for large-scale mechanical operations and is not suitable for small families. UV paint uses ultraviolet rays to instantly dry and solidify into a film. It has not yet penetrated into the wood, so it is easy to fall off and crack when the wood expands naturally.

7. Wood wax oil

Wood wax oil is based on plant oil and wax and is relatively environmentally friendly. The oil of wood wax oil penetrates into the wood, moisturizing and maintaining the wood, and can reflect the natural texture and grain of the wood. However, wood wax oil will deepen the color of the wood and cannot cover the defects of the wood itself. At the same time, the safety requirements are extremely high during the construction of wood wax oil. Sparks are prohibited at the construction site. Even the cloth used to apply wood wax oil must be put into a bucket, otherwise it may spontaneously combust.
